'You are Beautiful'
SIZE: 20 x 40"
Song of Songs 4:7
'Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.'
This looks like Adam & Eve in the Garden and that is the place where Jesus wants to take us. The place before sin came into the world. The place where we felt no shame and therefore we could accept our Father's unconditional love without questioning it. This painting actually depicts Jesus and us. The nakedness is the vulnerabilty and intimacy He desires to have with us where there is no shame. This is not to been seen as a physical painting but a spiritual one. God beholds us and sees us absolutely beautiful without flaw because Jesus died and took the sin of the world away. We might feel bad for some of the choices we make but we must believe that we are forgiven because of Jesus. He took that sin and every sin we will ever do, if we ask Him to. He sees us beautiful, righteous and flawless because He paid the final price for everyone's sin.
2 Corinthians 5:21
'God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.'
